Diane Brennan (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director of Events and Engagement at the Eisenhower Institute. Her professional journey spans many years in government, nonprofits, and higher education, culminating in her joining the Institute's staff in July 2025.
With a wealth of experience in event planning and engagement, Diane served as the Administrator for the Gilder Lehrman Lincoln Prize. Her instrumental role in planning events and conferences for the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College is a testament to her expertise. Her time at Gettysburg College also included working in Public Policy, broadening her knowledge and interest in several policies. Additionally, her tenure in the Provost's Office exposed her to the policies in education as well as budgets.
Diane's educational qualifications are a testament to her dedication and expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Gettysburg College, a foundation that has enriched her understanding of cultural contexts. Additionally, she has a Paralegal Certificate from Penn State, further enhancing her professional skills and knowledge.
She is active in her community, having volunteered and held office with several not-for-profits. Over the past few years, she has served as a research assistant for several historians and is currently the Administrator for The Lincoln Forum.
