Classics Club

Type: Cultural

The Classics Club provides an outlet through which Classical literature, history, and culture can be pursued in a free, open, and stimulating environment, allowing for the establishment of connections between the ancient world and the modern, encouraging critical thinking about social issues common to humanity. The mission of the Classics Club is to enlighten the campus community to the depth and relevancy of Classical Curricula, pushing for its integration into Gettysburg College's Core Curriculum, including the propagation of Classical Languages, Literature, History, Art, and Philosophy and to support activities related to this goal.
