Who to ask?

Gettysburg College partners with Program Providers to offer students rigorous and high-quality programming around the world. Program Providers offer students support from a North American-based office throughout the application and pre-departure period and after students have returned from their global study program. They also maintain staff, infrastructure, and support at the program site. They have country, city, and institutionally - specific expertise that make Program Providers an invaluable source of knowledge and advice for students as they prepare for their global semester.

The types of questions that are best addressed to Program Providers include:

  • Housing process and specifics
  • Registration procedures and timelines
  • Course availability
  • Program provider or host institution application materials
  • Arrival procedures and timing
  • Local logistics (including transportation)
  • Country specific health questions
