Established by alumni, family, and friends of Gettysburg College, the fund provides money for students who have financial need and are studying abroad on an Affiliated Gettysburg College program. The fund provides money to be used for activities that support the student’s educational experiences abroad and are not currently covered by Gettysburg College or the study abroad program.
This fund is open to students with documented financial need. Students may request up to $1,000.00. Students who apply for this award will automatically be considered for the Keiser Foundation Study Abroad Support Fund & Seibert International Experience Fund.
Recipients of the Fund for Global Study are required to submit receipts for monies spent along with a reflection essay upon completion of their global study program to show how these funds were used.
