Dear Campus Community,
Great news! Our women’s lacrosse team has defeated third-ranked William Smith in the NCAA Division III semifinals to advance to the championship game on Sunday. They will play top-ranked Middlebury at Roanoke College’s Kerr Stadium. Opening draw is set for noon.
On behalf of our entire Gettysburg community, I would like to congratulate our women’s lacrosse team on their inspiring play and on how wonderfully they represent the College. They are spirited competitors who are committed to writing their own remarkable chapter in this program’s storied history.
Please cheer on the Orange and Blue on Sunday as the team pursues their fourth NCAA title in the last 12 seasons. The game will take place in Salem, Virginia and will also be available via the NCAA livestream. Additional information can be found on the Gettysburg College athletics website.
