April 7, 2025
Dear Colleagues,
Thank you for making this year’s Get Acquainted Day such a meaningful experience for our Class of 2029 and their families. The energy across campus was simply extraordinary!
Nearly 700 prospective students and families joined us from 20 states and Bangladesh. Time and again, I heard how impressed they were by our community’s warmth, passion, and dedication. From compelling academic presentations to our spirited Expo to a joyful community reception, every aspect of the day reflected the heart of this College and the exceptional education we deliver.
I’d like to extend a special thanks to our colleagues in Admissions and Financial Aid, who have worked relentlessly to recruit this remarkable group of students. I’d also like to thank the many students, faculty, staff, and alumni who gave their time and talent this Saturday to make GAD so memorable.
It takes all of us to enroll a new class of students, and our work of shaping the Class of 2029 will continue through the May 1 deposit deadline and beyond. But today, I want to pause and express my deep appreciation for all that you do—day in and day out—to make Gettysburg an incredible place to live and learn. You truly make Gettysburg a home.
With gratitude,
Bob Iuliano
President
