42nd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

January 8, 2024

Dear Campus Community,

I hope you’re enjoying the start of the new year. For students and employees who will be on campus, I’d invite you to begin your spring semester by attending our 42nd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Monday, January 15, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Christ Chapel.

Patricia E. Green, an award-winning public relations expert, will deliver the ceremony’s keynote address, “Know our History, Know our Stories.” In recent years, Green launched When Sisters Gather in Gettysburg and Black Power Couples Weekend in Gettysburg, two events that celebrate Black excellence within our local community. She currently serves on the Gettysburg Hospital Foundation Board and WellSpan Health Western Region Board.

The ceremony will also showcase the musical talents of the Biglerville High School Jazz Band, the Brownsville Church of God Choir, and the Gettysburg Children’s Choir and Chamber Chorale.

Our annual celebration promises to be an inspiring tribute to Dr. King’s life and legacy. Please consider joining us.

Sincerely,

Bob Iuliano
President
