Dear Campus Community,
Gettysburg College has always distinguished itself as a community that meets the moment. At every turn—from our new majors in communication studies, public health policy, and finance to renovations of the CUB Ballroom and West Quad to the launch of our Alumni Mentoring Program—we are pursuing ambitious initiatives that will prepare today’s students to lead lives of impact.
This morning, we carry that legacy forward with the unveiling of our renewed visual identity—an outward expression of our enduring mission and bold aspirations for the future.
Our updated visual identity is the result of a comprehensive and inclusive process—one that honors nearly two centuries of our College’s history. As good stewards of our campus resources, we plan to implement the visual identity across campus over a multiyear period.
I’d like to extend my deepest thanks to the hundreds of contributors who offered their voice to this endeavor, including current students, prospective students, faculty, administrators, support staff, trustees, and our alumni boards and councils. Their collective feedback, thoughtful insights, and deep expressions of love and care helped to evolve our identity in a way that is uniquely Gettysburg.
Thank you all for your loyal support!
Sincerely,
Bob Iuliano
President
