Dear Campus Community,
With a new class of Gettysburgians arriving on campus nearly a month from today, I find myself reflecting with admiration on the countless ways our alumni, parents, and friends stepped forward in support of our students this past year. Whether through the efforts of more than 400 dedicated volunteers, classroom visits, one-on-one mentorship, or the creation of pathways to internships and dynamic careers, our community’s commitment to the College’s student-centered approach was on vivid display.
We saw that same commitment in this year’s fundraising results. I am pleased to report that more than 9,300 Gettysburgians contributed to enhancing our student experience through their generous philanthropic support.
Together, we supported the College with $25.1 million in new gifts and commitments during the 2024-25 fund year. This includes $7.7 million designated for our endowment—for scholarships and to professorships and experiential learning opportunities. We also saw phenomenal support for the Gettysburg Fund, which reached $4 million for the 6th year consecutively, and the Orange & Blue Club, which totaled a record $1.15 million.
I’d like to extend my deepest thanks to our College Advancement team and so many across our community who contribute to a culture of philanthropy and generosity on our campus. As we set our sights on yet another ambitious fundraising year—the final year of the leadership phase of our comprehensive campaign—I look forward to continuing to partner with you to bring our shared vision for the future to fruition.
Sincerely,
Bob Iuliano
President
