Dear Campus Community,
Amidst the grief, suffering, and violence the world is witnessing in Israel and Gaza, we invite you, and on behalf of a group of students, to join a student-led Peace Observation to be held next week, Wednesday, November 15 at 5 p.m. at the Peace Pole on campus. Students from different religious and cultural traditions will guide us in a moment of harmony.
As part of our work together, we will continue to address the impacts of bias and hate in all its forms—religious, cultural, racial/ethnic, national, LGBTQ+, and alike—on our campus. This is essential work.
But let’s stop for a moment and come together in solidarity with one another, to honor the thousands.
