 Effective with the Class of 2020

I.  Core Course:

                 AS 150 or AS 151 (Must be taken at Gettysburg College)

 

II.  Electives:  Select a course in each of the following categories that focus on your country.

                                                     One from Arts & Humanities

                                                     One from History & Social Science

                                                     One additional course

 

III.  Comparative:

                 One comparative course with a broad East Asia focus or a course on China or Japan.

                                              

IV.  Language:

                 CHN 201 or JPN 201

 

 

  • At least one non-language course must be at the 300-level.
  • No more than two courses at the 100-level are permitted.
  • No more than two courses can count for both your major and minor.
  • Courses allowed from study abroad; 2/semester.
