Six French courses are required for the minor.
French Minor Core
- French 201 Intermediate French or French 300-level elective
- French 202 Intermediate French or French 300-level elective
- French 300 Practice in Communication
- French 305 Approaches to Textual Analysis or French 310 French Revolutions: Political, Social & cultural Upheaval Since 1789
French 300-level Electives
- Two courses chosen from the other French departmental offerings at the 300-level or above.
Notes:
- Courses taken under the S/U grading option do not count toward the minor.
- Two courses taken abroad at IES Paris or IES Nantes may be counted toward the minor requirements, subject to the approval of the French department chairperson. One course taken aboard at IAU Aix-en-Provence may be counted toward the minor requirements, subject to the approval of the French department chairperson.
