CHN 201 |

- AS 110 is recommended for first & second year students, but cannot be taken by those who have studied in China.
- Categories and potential courses for the electives appear on the Chinese Track Requirements webpage
- CHN 101 & 102: Elementary Chinese are pre-requisites for CHN 201 but do not count towards the minor. However, students who have previously studied Chinese may enter the 200-level as determined by the language placement exam. Chinese language proficiency at the 202 -level is required and determined by the department.
- At least one non-language course must be at the 300-level.
- No more than two courses at the 100-level are permitted.
- No more than two courses can count for both your major and minor.
