JPN 201

 

 

  • AS 110 is recommended for first & second year students, but cannot be taken by those who have studied in Japan.
  • Categories and potential courses for the electives appear on the Japanese Track Requirements webpage
  • JPN 101 & 102: Elementary Japanese are pre-requisites for JPN 201 but do not count towards the minor. However, students who have previously studied Japanese may enter the 200-level as determined by the language placement exam. Japanese language proficiency at the 202 -level is required and determined by the department.
  • At least one non-language course must be at the 300-level.
  • No more than two courses at the 100-level are permitted.
  • No more than two courses can count for both your major and minor.
  • Courses allowed from study abroad: 2/semester
