Business Minor
Check Sheet
Six courses are required for the minor.
Five Core Courses
- ECON 103 Principles of Microeconomics
- MGT 155 Accounting for Management Decisions
- MGT 270 Organization Behavior
- MGT or ECON 267 Finance
- MGT 361 Marketing Management
Pre-requisite ECON 103 and approved statistics course; may choose MGT 235, ECON 241, POL 215, PSYCH 205, SOC 299, HS 232, BIO 260, or MATH 207. MATH 207 (107 prior to Fall, 2026), can be used for students that are in a major that does not require statistically based methods.
Elective Course
- Choose one of the following: MGT 321, 335, 338, 350, 360, 363, 365, 368, 370, 376, 381, 385, 395, 399, ECON 303, 309, 341, 342, 344, 367.
- May take this elective while abroad if approved by department.
Notes:
- A student may not declare the Business minor until that have completed ECON 103 and MGT 155.
- Courses taken under the S/U grading option do not count toward the minor.
