Introductory Course
- HIST 201 Intro to Public History
Archaeology Course
- One course from ANTH 106, 212, 250 Topic: Archaeology of Landscape, ANTH/AS 252/352, ANTH 255/ CLA 125, or ANTH 275
History Content Course
- One course from HIST 230, 318, 319, 339, 341, 343, 345, 348, 349, or 350
Visual and Material Culture Course
- One course from ARTH 125, 201, 202, 214, 225, 267, 284, ANTH/ ARTH 270, CIMS 220, CWES 225, CWES 250 Topic: Civil War Photography, or CWES/IDS 285
Memory and Interpretation Course
- One course from AFS/CWES 240, AFS 262, ANTH/AS 229, CIMS/GER 235, CWES 237, 320, CWES/HIST 246, EDUC 309, ENG 201, HIST 247, IDS 217, FYS 105-3, 122-1, 184-4
Public History Internship
- IDS 470 internship for credit
Notes:
- Courses chosen to fulfill the minor requirements must be selected from at least three different departments/ programs.
- No more than two courses may be transferred in from off-campus study.
- Students who would like to substitute other related courses (taken either on of off-campus) for the approved courses or make a case for an alternative path to meeting a minor requirement may formally petition the advisory committee.
