Indoor Masking at Musselman Library and Theatre Performances

Message sent on October 29, 2021

Jack Ryan, Vice Provost, informs the campus community about masking guideline changes for Musselman Library and theatre performances.

Dear Members of the Gettysburg College Community,

We would like to inform you of two changes to our indoor masking policy.

Musselman Library

Beginning on Friday, October 29th, the indoor masking requirement will be lifted in Musselman Library, except in the library classrooms, which include:

  • Room 014
  • Room 018
  • Special Collections Reading Room

Musselman Library staff may ask you to wear a mask if you are working with them in close quarters at any of the service points. We ask that you please keep a mask with you when in the library.

Theatre Performance

The Theater Arts Department’s production of Into the Woods, which will be performed at the Majestic Theater November 4th-7th, will feature unmasked student performers while they are on stage.

We are pleased to be in a position as a campus community to make these adjustments to our indoor masking policy. If you have any questions, please visit the COVID-19 website or contact covidupdates@gettysburg.edu.

Sincerely,

Jack Ryan
Vice Provost
