Housing Details
33 W Middle Street
33 W. Middle Street is one of 11 apartment-style residence halls for upperclass students. Sometimes used for Theme Housing, this facility houses 10 students in five separate apartments which are located on the second and third floors. There are five two-person apartments all of which have double bedrooms and one bathroom.
Each apartment in 33 W. Middle Street has a kitchen (including a full-size refrigerator and range) with eat-in dining area that includes a table with chairs. Kitchens are not equipped with dinnerware and cookware. Apartments 201 and 203 also have a common space (living room) in which some furniture is also provided (e.g. sofa, chairs, end table, etc.). Apartments 202, 301 and 302 each have a common space that is a shared bedroom.
Each bedroom has closet space, a desk, a dresser, and an extra-long bed (38 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches) for each resident. Students may contact Facilities Services at 717-337-6700 to request the additional pieces necessary to bunk or loft their bed. There is a limited supply of the pieces necessary for lofting beds; therefore, students are provided the pieces on a first-come, first-served basis. There is approximately 15 inches between the floor and the bottom of the bed. To gain additional storage space below the bed, students may use bed risers, which are available for purchase at the College Bookstore.
