Traci Manning, a 2007 graduate of Gettysburg College with a major in Religion, went to Shippensburg University, from which she graduated with a Master's degree In Applied History in 2009. At present Traci is a Park Ranger with the Education Office at the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park while she is also earning her teaching certification in social studies through course-work at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. She states:

Majoring in Religion prepared me in countless ways, primarily in working with the public and different groups of people. It also challenged me to think critically about social situations, culture, and world issues with the ability to wrap my thoughts into both written and spoken forms of communication. I have been able to use these skills in preparing lesson plans, tour outlines, and other programs that I present to schools and the visiting public.”
