Stephanie Sellers teaches topics in Native American studies in three departments and is the Director of the Gettysburg College Women's Center. She holds a doctoral degree in Native American Studies with an emphasis on women of the Eastern Woodlands and was mentored by Paula Gunn Allen. She has authored two books, both published with Peter Lang Publishing. Her scholarly articles, fiction, and poetry have appeared in journals such as Native Literatures: Generations, American Indian Culture & Research Journal, and in other Native literary anthologies. She has presented papers at national conferences of the Modern Language Association, National Women Studies Association, and the International Society for the Study of American Women Writers.
