Karenna Genzlinger

Karenna Genzlinger, a senior mathematics major, received the Pi Mu Epsilon Student Speaker Award for her presentation at the annual summer meeting of the Mathematical Association of America. Karenna's talk was entitled "Minimum Sumset Size," and it was based on her work conducted last year in Math 301 (Intermediate Research in Mathematics). The Award, which also includes a cash prize, is sponsored by the American Mathematical Society (AMS), the American Statistical Association (ASA), and the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics Program (BSM). Two other Gettysburg students, Wes Galbraith and Ryan Matzke, were also giving talks at the conference.
