As you complete your senior year of high school, mark your calendar with the following dates for your first year at Gettysburg:
- Saturday, April 21- Get Acquainted Day- a special program for accepted and enrolled students and their families (invitations will be sent in late March)
- Mid May- Orientation, Residence Life, and Registrar's Office mailing sent from the Office of Student Activities & First-Year Programs
- May 23 - June 18- Language Placement Exams (online)
- May 23 - June 18- myFirstYear Dashboard (online orientation)
- June 25 - July 13- Online Course Registration
- Mid July through Early August- First-Year Send Off events with alumni, current students, parents and first-year students and their families (held at the homes of parents and alumni)
- Early August- Room and roommate assignments released
- Wednesday, August 22- Move-in day
- Wednesday, August 22- Sunday, August 26- Orientation
- Monday, August 27- Classes begin
- October 26-28 - Family Weekend
- December 7 - Last day of fall semester classes
- December 9-11 and 13-15 - Final Examinations
- January 21- Spring semester classes begin
