Corey Jewart is entering his third year as Assistant Director of Content Strategy in the Office of Communications and Marketing and his 18th year overall at Gettysburg College. Previously, he spent 15 years working in Athletic Communications at Gettysburg, including the final four as director.

As a member of the Communications and Marketing team, Jewart creates content that supports the College's mission to prepare students to lead lives of consequence and meaning and advances the institution's national visibility in the marketplace. He works closely with campus partners, students, and alumni to highlight key marketing messages and branding. Jewart also serves as liaison with the College Advancement Division, helping the institution reach and engage a network of 32,000 alumni spanning the globe.

Prior to moving offices to Pennsylvania Hall in the spring of 2022, Jewart oversaw all communication and marketing efforts related to Gettysburg's NCAA Division III varsity athletics program. He was responsible for maintaining the athletics website, GettysburgSports.com, managing all of the department's primary social media channels, composing a variety of written content for distribution to local and national media outlets, producing live video streams and editing video footage for features and highlights, and collecting and archiving statistics and records.

From 2012 to 2022, Jewart won 13 district awards in the Fred Stabley, Sr., Writing Contest sponsored by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), more than any other Division III SID in the country.

Following the 2018-19 season, Jewart was recognized as the Small College SID of the Year by the National Wrestling Media Association for his coverage of Bullets wrestling. Additionally, he has received five Stoles of Gratitude, which are given by members of Gettysburg's graduating class to an individual whose support was instrumental in helping a student reach graduation.

In the community, Jewart has served as a volunteer coach in baseball and basketball, and is acting president of the Biglerville Area Basketball Club, a local youth basketball organization supporting more than 100 K-6 players and their families. He maintains a close connection with Bullets athletics and the Centennial Conference by serving as a play-by-play broadcaster for a number of sporting events, including the Centennial Conference Swimming Championships.

Jewart graduated cum laude with a degree in history from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and he earned a master's in sport management with a concentration in strategic sport analysis from California University of Pennsylvania in 2021. A native of Austin, Pennsylvania, Jewart and his wife, Angela, have two children, Giuliana and Grayson.
