Economics Majors
For the Economics major (BA), students will:
- understand economic theories and institutions in both microeconomics and macroeconomics.
- find and interpret economic information and data.
- answer economic questions by applying basic econometric techniques to economic data.
- analyze complex problems and arguments using economic models or reasoning.
- communicate economic arguments in oral and written form following the communication conventions of economics.
Mathematical Economics Majors
For the Mathematical Economics major (BS), students will:
- understand economic theories and institutions in both microeconomics and macroeconomics.
- find and interpret economic information and data.
- answer economic questions by applying advanced econometric techniques to economic data.
- analyze complex problems and arguments using formal mathematical economic models.
- communicate economic arguments in oral and written form following the communication conventions of economics.
Economics Minors
For the Economics minor, students will:
