Employment

Our carefully crafted curriculum, particularly our strong emphasis on analytical, intercultural, communication, and time management skills, prepares sociology majors and minors for a diversity of careers. Some choose to follow a more traditional route, pursuing employment in human relations, law, marketing, or sales. Others, who may be more focused on issues of social justice and inequity, find service-oriented positions in nonprofit advocacy, education, public policy, or social work. No matter your interests, you will have the opportunity to work in concert with the Guided Pathways approach to chart a unique educational trajectory together with your advisors and mentors.
