Jazz Appreciation Society
The Jazz Appreciation Society promotes awareness of jazz music both on and off campus. JAS works in conjunction with the Sunderman Conservatory of Music (most notably the Gettysburg College Jazz Ensemble) to bring jazz music to everyone throughout the entire Gettysburg College campus. The Jazz Appreciation Society sponsors many activities during the school year to fulfill its purpose, including the Annual Swing Dance and the Open Mic Nights held in The Junction.
