Campus services
Ceremony Registration
Seniors registered two guests (children count as guests), chose an arrival time for their guests, and confirmed their own attendance.
Seniors must share each guest's arrival time and QR code with their guests in advance of the guests' arrival at Musselman Stadium.
Guests will be expected to scan the QR code at the Musselman Stadium gates on May 17.
Bookstore Commencement Hours
Gettysburg College Bookstore will operate three locations on Monday, May 17.
Main Bookstore/CUB
7:30 - 9 a.m. (On-campus seniors with CUB access only)
2 - 4 p.m. (On-campus seniors with CUB access only)
Pool Patio (west end of The Jaeger Center)
9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
A limited selection of Gettysburg College logo items and limited regalia sizes will be available for purchase.
CUB 126/Lincoln Avenue Walk-Up Window
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Web order package pick-up only. No CUB/Bookstore access.
Place a web order via the Bookstore website.
Diploma Information and Grades
Diplomas and diploma covers will be mailed to graduates in June. If you have any questions about your degree or diploma, contact the Office of the Registrar.
Transportation
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Transportation is not offering services to family members and guests.
Freedom Transit offers public transportation around Gettysburg. See the Freedom Transit website for details and schedules.
Tips for the Commencement ceremony
- Pack lightly. You will be going through a bag check.
- Bring rain gear.
- Wear sunscreen.
- Bring binoculars.
- Wear sensible shoes. No high heels or spiked heels are permitted as they will damage the track and the turf on the field.
- Wear a hat.
- Wear layers. It could get hot; it could cool down very quickly.
- Most of all, celebrate and enjoy your graduate's achievement—congratulations!
