I teach in the Sociology department and the Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studiesprogram. My teaching and research interests are closely related, and from the beginning of the semester students get a taste of what I do.
I use the Sociological Imagination to explore Latin American societies. I also provide a comparative historical approach to help students understand the region’s social development. For more details on my background and interests venture around the website and I am sure you will find some interesting surprises! To get to know me more closely, visit the recent feature on Musselman Library’s Next Page blog.
