Patricia Jackson
MEDU 640 Equity in Education
Patricia is a practicing high school teacher in the Central York School District whose student-led advocacy work has gained national attention. She is the co-author of Ban This! How One School Fought Two Book Bans and Won, and has been featured in The New York Times and on CNN. In recognition of her leadership in equity, civic engagement, and student voice, she received the 2023 King Center Beloved Community Award.
