Inaugural Schedule of Events

Gettysburg College will host a series of Inaugural Events on September 27–28, including panel discussions highlighting the scholarly, creative, and innovative works of our faculty and students.

Saturday, September 28

The Installation Ceremony will take place on September 28 at 2:00 p.m. on the Beacham Portico, located on the north side of Pennsylvania Hall. The event will be followed by an afternoon reception and an evening campus party.

Golf Carts

Student workers in golf carts will be circling the campus offering rides to anyone who needs assistance getting from one place to the other. They will also pass by the Admissions Lot, which is reserved for accessible parking, every 10 minutes to pick up people who are parked there. Please look for them and wave so they know you would like a lift. Inauguration Staff will be wearing bright blue shirts and orange name tags.
