About the Donors
Friends, former students, and colleagues established this endowment in memory of Mary Margaret Stewart (1931-2021) to honor her legacy at the College and her commitment to women’s studies. Stewart taught English at Gettysburg College from 1959 until her retirement in 1996. This endowment pays tribute to her deep appreciation of women writers and artists and her enthusiasm for Special Collections at Musselman Library.
