The Eisenhower Institute (EI) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit presidential legacy organization that develops and sponsors civic discourse on significant issues of domestic and international public policy. Its activities include research and scholarship, education and outreach and recognition and celebration. The organization strives to embody Eisenhower's model of public policy formation and leadership, and programs encourage greater understanding of our core governmental institutions, bridging the perspectives of scholars, policy-makers, students and citizens.

With offices in the heart of the nation's capital and in a historic home in Gettysburg once occupied by Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower, EI provides both top-level dialogue among policy-makers and a premier learning experience for undergraduates by carefully blending the two. EI is governed by a board of directors and has both a campus advisory council and a public advisory board.
