Bias Awareness Resource Committee (BARC): The Bias Awareness Resource Committee (BARC) is committed to supporting a living, learning, and working environment in which all members are respected and their differences are valued. BARC is charged with reviewing bias incident reports and with implementing strategies to educate, to strengthen, and to support the campus community when such incidents occur. Campus Climate Study Implementation Group (CCSIG): This working group is charged with strategizing and proposing new ways to improve our campus climate. The Campus Climate Study conducted in 2016 is the primary source of data and information reviewed as well as current issues in our College’s community. Meetings are held once per month. Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Advancement (I.D.E.A.) Council: This Council is charged with advising the Chief Diversity Officer and the Office of Diversity & Inclusion. The Council advocates for the enhancement of the College’s efforts to institutionalize an inclusive learning and working environment. Meetings are once per month.
