Message sent on November 9, 2020

Dean Julie Ramsey informs the community of the current COVID-19 status on campus as of Saturday, November 7, 2020.

Dear campus community:

I’m writing today to update you on our campus’s current COVID-19 status.

As you know, COVID-19 cases continue to surge around in Pennsylvania and around the nation. In Pennsylvania, a one-day record of 4,035 new positive COVID-19 cases was recorded on Saturday.

Please continue to follow the health and safety protocols that are in place, including wearing masks, avoiding large gatherings, and maintaining physical distance. As you prepare to return home in less than two weeks, you should be especially vigilant in complying with these guidelines as to not transmit the virus to your friends and family at home.

This weekly update below is available via email and on the website every Monday and will outline our current status determined by our alert level, and any changes that are being made to campus operations given this information. If there is a sudden increase in cases that occurs between these updates, an emergency notification will be sent by the Department of Public Safety.
