Students who graduate with an individualized major have many skills that are considered valuable by graduate schools and employers alike. They’ve already demonstrated initiative, discipline, and focus by designing their own major. They also develop excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Many of our alums continue their education beyond Gettysburg through master's, Ph.D., or professional programs (e.g., law school). Others seek employment after graduation in a non-profit organization or corporate environment. Some graduates even start their own business. Truly, the sky is the limit!
