On Friday, April 19, we are excited to welcome members of the Class of 2028 and their guests to The Gettysburg Experience, a special open house event for accepted students.

Schedule of Events
Registration and Refreshments – 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Students and guests will check in for The Gettysburg Experience in the College Union Building (CUB) Lobby.
Welcome – 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
Carey Thompson, Vice President for Enrollment and Educational Services, will welcome accepted students and their guests to campus with opening remarks in the CUB Ballroom.
Academic Classes (for students) - 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
Students will be led from the CUB Ballroom to the academic buildings and will sit in on an academic class.
The Gettysburg Approach (for family members and other guests) - 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
As students attend classes, parents will remain in the CUB Ballroom for a presentation on the profound impact of the Gettysburg Approach.
Student Perspectives - 11:10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
All students and guests will return to the CUB Ballroom for a panel featuring current Gettysburg students. These current students will share their perspectives on life at Gettysburg, and answer questions from the audience.
Lunch – 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Lunch in the Dining Center will be provided free of charge to all accepted students and their guests.
Q&A with the Provost- 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Gettysburg's Provost, Jamila Bookwala, will conduct and question-and-answer session moderated by two current Gettysburg students.
Campus Tour - 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Attendees and their guests will receive a tour of campus, led by a current Gettysburg student.
Community Reception - 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Accepted students and their guests can mingle with each other and members of the Gettysburg campus community at a casual reception to close out the day's events
