Test Optional Policy
Strong students who believe that standardized test scores do not accurately reflect the strength of their academic achievements can choose to be considered as test optional in the admissions process.
Applicants choosing this option should indicate that they would like to apply under the test optional policy on question 3 on the Gettysburg Supplement. All enrolled students must submit their standardized test scores for placement.
Students who wish to be considered for an academic merit scholarship are required to submit either the SAT or ACT scores.
Homeschooled applicants, as well as international students for whom English is not the first language, are strongly encouraged to submit standardized test scores along with the application.
