Ava Shapiro

Ava is a junior at Colby College majoring in Government and Educational Studies. This fall she is participating in American University’s Washington Semester Program. Last summer, Ava interned at the Maine Department of Education on the Communications & Outreach team. At school, she works in the Campus Events Office and Healthy Colby Residence Program and is involved with Hillel, The Maine History and Food Club, The Outing Club, Ultimate Frisbee, and Equestrian Club. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and listening to country music.
