Meriem Hamioui

Meriem Hamioui is the inaugural International Economy and Democracy Fellow at the Eisenhower Institute, where she contributes to public policy research and development. Pursuing a double major in International Political Economy and International Affairs with minors in Economics and Political Science, Meriem is actively engaged in leadership and research roles on campus and beyond. She has completed internships with the Council on Foreign Relations, the American Task Force on Lebanon, the National Council on US-Arab Relations, and Education For Employment, contributing to projects on trade policy, international relations, and business development. Fluent in Arabic, French, English and more, Meriem is dedicated to fostering global engagement and understanding. Her interests include Middle Eastern policy, economic development, and cross-cultural exchange.
