Applications for Inside Civil Rights will open in February.
Gettysburg College students are eligible to participate in Eisenhower Institute programs beginning their second semester of their first year. Some programs only accept certain class years; read each program description carefully to determine if you qualify. There is no fee for participating in Eisenhower Institute programs. Students are expected to be on-campus for the duration of the program they are participating in; virtual attendance is not permitted unless it is explicitly built into the program's design. You are welcome to apply to more than one program during the application period; we will ask you to rank them in order of preference.
Before You Apply
1. Students must attend an information/orientation session to apply for Eisenhower Institute programs if they are not currently participating in an EI program.
2. Read our FAQ, participation agreement, AI policy, and application guide for key information and helpful advice.
3. Review the program description, schedule, and application before you apply. Experts create schedules months in advance. Students are responsible for attending all sessions, trips, and activities.
Applications are now being reviewed for the following programs:
- Gender and Leadership | January 2026
- Economic Transformation: Competing Models in a Changing World | Spring 2026
- Emerging Threats in National Security | Spring 2026
- Global Focus: Beyond the Middle Eastern Mystique | Spring 2026
