Musselman Library celebrates the scholarly works of Gettysburg College faculty, staff, and students. We showcase their work online in our institutional repository (The Cupola), in book displays on the library's main floor, and at our annual College Authors reception.
Report Your Work
Faculty should self-report all publications and professional activities using the College Authors/Faculty Notebook form. The information on this form is used by three offices:
- The Library - to make sure your work is honored at our annual College Authors Reception and included in The Cupola
- The Provost's Office - to make sure your work is included in The Faculty Notebook
- The Bookstore - to stock your work for sale, if appropriate
Descriptions of all works by College authors will be included in The Cupola. When permitted by the publisher and/or copyright holder, the full content of your work will be included in The Cupola. The Library will check copyright and handle uploading. All you need to do is publish!
Submissions received by December 31 of each year will be honored at the spring College Authors Reception, which is typically held in March. Publications submitted after that date will be recognized at the following year's reception.
2018 College Authors
On March 22, 2019, we honored 91 Gettysburg College authors, including 28 students, who created 116 scholarly works.
