Gettysburg College is committed to providing a lifetime of support spanning your time as an undergraduate on campus and even after you graduate through the powerful and far-reaching Gettysburg Network. This network weaves itself through every type of industry and spreads across the country, creating many opportunities for our students and alumni to work toward and achieve their professional goals.

More than 32,000 faithful alumni power the Gettysburg Network, but it’s not only alums who compose this far-reaching organization. Gettysburg College professors, coaches, career counselors, staff, and family and friends of Gettysburg grads will forever be a part of your web. All members of the Gettysburg Network are united in the pursuit to Do Great Work, creating a web of interconnectedness that extends a lifetime.

32,000 Gettysburg alumni span all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Canada, and five continents around the world. 

9,592 Members of the Gettysburg College Professional Network on LinkedIn—including students, alumni, parents of students, and friends of the College---who have worked at companies such as Vanguard, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, and Google.

3,673 Members of connectGettysburg, an online network community specifically for Gettysburg College. Members, which include alumni, parents, and students, can post recent job opportunities, find mentors and mentees, and give or receive career advice.

98 Percent of graduates that are employed or attending graduate school within one year of graduation during the past seven years. Employers cover a range of industries, including but not limited to NBCUniversal, the Coca-Cola Company, Goldman Sachs, Johnson & Johnson, City Year, The United States Justice Department, MLB, American Red Cross, and AT&T

75 Percent of alumni that have completed at least one internship while attending Gettysburg College over the last seven years. Internships can occur during the academic semester or over the summer and include opportunities with AT&T, NBC Universal, MLB, The Hershey Company, NASA, Teach for America, The Walt Disney Company, Bloomberg, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Deloitte, Pfizer, Sanofi, and many other organizations across the country.

60 Percent of the 2023 graduating class worked with faculty on research during their undergraduate career at Gettysburg, enhancing their level of deep learning and intellectual development.

40 Ranking by College Consensus for Most Supportive Alumni Network. This ranking is created by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Awards as a base before placing them in order of Consensus Score, which utilizes both expert and student reviews.

19 Ranking among liberal arts schools on’s College Salary Report, which examines early career and mid-career salaries of alumni based on an online compensation survey. With their breadth of knowledge and refinement of career-based skills, Gettysburg graduates make a quick impact in their chosen professional fields.
