Campus Activities: Member of Alpha Omicron Pi, previously worked for Annual Giving Office and Campus Recreation- I am looking at more ways to get involved in things upon my return, meaning attending the club fair and looking for more opportunities!
Favorite Experience: Getting to take classes in an Australia setting. I really enjoyed getting to learn in a different format and see how students in the classroom of a bigger university interacted. UOW had 30,000 people while Gettysburg has just under 3,000 so I think seeing this difference was eye opening and so valuable. Moreover, I really enjoyed being in a new environment that was filled with such luxurious nature (such as the beach being only a 10 minute walk) and Sydney being only an hour away- this gave me so many options of things to do.
New/Exciting Course Abroad: Australian History was a class I knew I would not take accept in Australia, I know that it is not offered at Gettysburg College so taking this as an opportunity to learn about a culture and their history while living in it was a one of a kind experience! I think it broadened my understanding of the world.
