Favorite Experience: Getting to walk around the city and experience all the different neighborhoods. This was especially cool as I learned the history of Madrid, because I could start connecting names and events to physical places. Especially around the old city walls from when it was Mayrit.
New/Exciting Course Abroad: I think the most impactful course was actually the time I got to spend sitting at the kitchen table, talking with my host family about everything under the sun.
