Favorite Experience: I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time in two different countries. My favorite experience in Australia was snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and seeing the beautiful coral and colorful wildlife. I will never forget taking my first jump off the back of the boat into the blue Australian waters and exploring. In Norway, my favorite experiences were feeding Arctic reindeer and doing a sled ride. Reindeer have the softest fur and are so sweet. Despite the bitter temperatures, it felt like I was in a movie.

New/Exciting Course Abroad: My favorite course was an exercise science course that I took in Australia. The course was super interesting, and it is something Gettysburg does not offer for the Health Science major. It was a challenging course because it entailed a lab. However, I felt motivated to learn in that class and obtained so much new knowledge. I found it super fascinating when we did a V02 max bike test to determine our body's maximal oxygen consumption and muscles' efficiency.
