Learn about the process for reporting an incident of sexual misconduct.
If you or someone you know has been affect by sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking or some other form of sexual misconduct, there are resources and options available to you on campus and off-campus.

Resource List
Gettysburg College has a variety of resources both on and off-campus available to those who have been impacted by sexual harassment and sexual violence. Resources found here include campus offices, local agencies that provide support to those impacted by sexual and domestic violence, National Hotlines connecting an impacted party to an advocate 24/7, and additional resources based on identity.
How to Report Sexual Misconduct
If you or someone you know has been impacted by sexual harassment or sexual violence, you are able to report your experience to the College through a variety of ways including through our online reporting forms, or directly to the Title IX Director or Campus Safety. It is important to remember that a report does not automatically trigger an investigation.
Understanding the Clery Report
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, is a federal law that requires colleges and universities to disclose certain timely and annual information about campus crime and security policies. The Annual Security Report is published annually by October 1 and contains 3 years’ worth of campus crime statistics, as well as information about the College’s Policies and the rights of those impacted by sexual violence.

Rights of Parties
Those who are engaged in a Title IX or Sexual Misconduct Resolution process are afforded rights under Title IX and under the College’s Policies. A summary of those rights can be found here.
