Voice Proficiency Levels by Degree

Repertoire for vocal juries and performances should include a variety of languages (Italian, English, French, German, and others as appropriate), time periods, and styles. Broadway and jazz numbers must be deemed vocally acceptable and approved by studio teachers. All selections must be memorized.

These guidelines provide a framework for the student and teacher to plan and select literature appropriate for each degree.
