Application Review Process
Gettysburg College typically receives about 5,600 Regular Decision applications each year and mails admissions decisions by early April.
Students who have applied for Regular Decision can convert their application to Early Decision until February 1 by submitting the Early Decision Form (PDF) (in addition to their completed application).
At Gettysburg, your academic credentials will be evaluated carefully during the application review process.
In conjunction with your academic record, the admissions staff is also very interested in learning about your activities, hobbies, and passions, and in exploring how those interests will contribute to the ongoing life of this dynamic college community.
