Counseling and Wellness Services

I am a licensed professional counselor with a background in clinical mental health counseling. My approach to counseling is a person-centered approach and I maintain an eclectic style that allows me to adjust to each individual’s needs. I focus on rapport building and creating a comfortable space for each individual because only then can the healing and growth journey begin. I tend to lean towards emotion focused therapy to help support you in gaining awareness and understanding of your emotions without judgment. I am passionate about meeting my students with where they are at, but also helping them steer their own ship towards their personal goals. I have a special interest in suidide prevention, self awareness, grief and loss, and mindfulness. 

Outside of my career I enjoy spending quality time with my family and little one, trying new foods, and all things animals!
