Employee Benefits

In December 2024, changes were made to ACA reporting requirements. Plan sponsors no longer need to send Form 1095-C unless requested by a full-time employee or covered individual. The form, which details a full-time employee’s health coverage, can now be distributed electronically. Gettysburg College will provide the 1095-C form electronically to those who request it, within 30 days. Paper copies are available upon request from the Human Resources Office at hr@gettysburg.edu.

Standard benefits

Benefits provided by Gettysburg College include medical, dental, retirement, life insurance, leave, and tuition.

The Benefits Advisory Committee (BAC) serves in an advisory capacity to the Human Resources Office. BAC is comprised of a group of knowledgeable faculty and staff who have the purpose of gathering input and assisting in the monitoring of existing employee benefits. Their charge includes providing advice to the College on employee preferences that meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
